  Initiated acquisition of 1.8 MW solar facility South Cary Water Reclamation Facility.

  Established and supported successful food waste drop off service to align with commitments to reduce waste and divert house hold waste from landfills.

  Cary distributed 1,200 trees in FY2022.

  In November 2022, Council adopted plans and approved the rezoning for the LaurelStreet project.

  Habitat for Humanity of Wake County partnered with Cary to provide seven new single-family homes on Trimble Avenue.

  First developer provided Affordable Housing Units offered in multi-family rezoning

  SmartCities program awards in 2017 and 2018 (Rising Star, Cary’s simulated Smart City,Smart Cities Readiness Grants)
